Tourists and developers have loud voices in this town. Residents deserve louder ones. As Mayor, I'll bring every major decision back to one simple test: is this what's best for the people who live here?
Leadership That Listens
Visible. Accessible. Accountable.
No more agreements made behind closed doors. I'll hold regular open forums, publish my calendar, and answer to the residents who put me in office, not to the loudest lobbyists in the room.
Protecting Our Island
Preserve our character while making smart decisions about growth.
Hilton Head's character is our greatest asset. We can plan for the future without paving over what makes this island worth protecting. Growth has to serve residents first, not the other way around.
Safe Communities
Public safety is the first responsibility of local government.
Where is our strategic public safety plan? We have one for housing, transportation, and parks. Public safety deserves the same, with clear goals, measurable outcomes, and regular reporting to residents.
Honest Leadership
Transparency, fiscal responsibility, and respectful leadership you can trust.
Great leaders don't create agreements behind closed doors. They create a vision people want to build together, out in the open. That's the standard I'll hold myself to every day, in every decision.
