Demand Accountability for Taxpayer Dollars
I will lead a process to ensure every significant expenditure has a clear purpose, measurable results, and appropriate public oversight.
Every dollar the Town spends came out of someone's pocket on this island. That fact should shape how we decide to spend it.
For every significant expenditure I want three things on the record before the vote: what problem it solves, how we will measure whether it worked, and who is watching it after the check clears.
This is not about spending less for its own sake. It is about being able to answer a resident who asks what their money bought.
What that means in practice
