Remarks to Town Council on Public Safety

The first responsibility of any government is to protect its people. Where is the Town's strategic public safety plan?

My vision for Hilton Head Island is straightforward: put residents first, really listen to people, and restore trust in local government.

Servant Leaders listen first, act with integrity, and put people before politics. Self-serving leaders often do the opposite.

Great leaders don't create agreements behind closed doors. They create a vision people want to build together, out in the open.

Delay after delay has become the default. Hilton Head deserves decisions made with courage, not postponement dressed up as process.

You start to post that you might run for Mayor and get suspended from a local platform. Looks like censorship is real on Hilton Head Island.

Talk to people about your vision as much as you can. Tell them what you're thinking. Give them your big picture. Then LISTEN.
